Today’s message, Foundation Matters, reminds us that the true battles of life are not won with our strength, but through our spiritual foundation in God. In Exodus 17:8–13, Israel faced their first battle after leaving Egypt. While Joshua fought in the valley, victory was secured on the hill where Moses lifted his hands in dependence on God — supported by Aaron and Hur. This moment teaches us that the fight is spiritual, prayer is our lifeline, and community gives us strength when we’re weary. From now on, we fight differently: anchored in prayer, surrounded by support, and standing firm on the foundation of God.
